Oil Busting Soap - Vegan

An amazing stain remover (including old castor oil stains) and general household cleaner. 
Non-toxic, safe for all surfaces (including dishes) and fabrics. 

This handmade vegan soap captures all of the natural goodness and cleansing power of traditional South African "Boerseep", using coconut oil instead of beef tallow.

Ingredients: Saponified coconut oil, orange essential oil. 


To remove castor oil from fabrics and castor oil packs:

1. Thoroughly wet the item in warm water and then gently wring out excess water.

2. Rub the wet soap bar all over the item, lay it on quite thick.

3. Lightly squeeze the item all over to help the soap soak in evenly.

4. Leave it to sit in shallow warm water - just enough to cover it, for at least 40 minutes, or longer (say up to 3 hours).

5. Throw into the washing machine to wash as usual with other items.

Note: If the item is heavily loaded with oil, like a castor oil pack, rinse thoroughly in warm water just before throwing it in the wash.
