Natural Castor Oil Wrap - Medium

100% pure cotton, plastic-free cotton wrap with adjustable elastic straps. Can be used on its own, or to secure a thicker pack in place - a pack can be a folded up clean cotton cloth, flannel, or a cotton towel cut to size.

This medium sized wrap is perfect for securing over the shoulder area, middle or lower abdomen, upper back, female reproductive organs etc.

The same wrap can be reused daily for up to 2 months before needing a wash. Use your own discretion. 

When in need of a wash, our Oil Busting Soap does a good job. It's also an excellent stain remover for any spills on clothes or bedding. 
 

Application

Use the wrap daily, or for a minimum of 4 days per week. Leave it on for as long as possible, but for a minimum of 40 minutes to be effective for most conditions. Apply heat over the wrap for enhanced penetration of the oil, especially for deep set conditions. If possible, it can be left on overnight.

Instructions

On first application, apply about 3 or more tablespoons of pure castor oil onto the inside of the wrap. Let the oil sink in a bit, and then place on the body and secure it. Relax and keep yourself warm and comfortable.

With future applications, it is sometimes not necessary to add more oil, but when required about 2 tablespoon more. The pack should always be saturated, but not dripping with oil. 

When done, fold the wrap in half with the oil on the inside, fold again, and then place in an airtight container. This can be left next to your bed, or at the place where you use the pack. If used on clean skin and in a relaxed state, the oil does not have to be refrigerated and can be used continuously for up to 2 months. 

Once removed, massage any oil left on the skin until it has been sufficiently absorbed. If necessary any any excess oil can then be wiped clean with a natural cloth or paper towel. 

Continue daily for a few weeks, or until the problem has resolved. 
For certain deep set conditions, this may take 2 - 6 months of continuous use. 

Pure castor oil is a very stable oil, and will not degrade/oxidise easily if kept in an airtight container.
